COUNTY OF SIMCOE PARAMEDIC SERVICES 2008 TOY DRIVE

The 2008 Christmas Season is now over and the Simcoe County Paramedic Services would like to thank everyone who gave their time and energy to ensure the success of the County of Simcoe Paramedic Services Food & Toy Drive.

In spite of the recent economical challenges, our campaign saw enormous growth.  It was our most successful year to date!  

This year we had significant donations from Connexus Community Church (3700 lbs. of food and 362 toys), Bayside Restaurant in Orillia, Zehrs (Essa Road in Barrie), Byng School in Stayner, and Hovey's Gourmet Meats in Barrie (10 frozen turkeys), among others.

Wal-Mart Supercentre in Orillia, who has a long history of involvement in and commitment to the community, donated a whopping $2,000.00!

We would also like to thank all the volunteers for their commitment, contribution, support and involvement - your dedication cannot be underestimated.  Your commitment to giving back to our community is sincerely appreciated and demonstrates how we can make a difference in the lives of others and continue a legacy of giving in years to come.

The generous and caring residents of Simcoe County have come through to make sure that everyone had a great Christmas!
